Lounge and gate question

Morning all
A couple of questions to the FT experts if i may please.
My Wife and I are flying CE from LHR to VCE on the 0800 from T5 in a couple of weeks.
Does anyone know which gates this normally departs from and which of the 2 galleries lounges would be closest.
Also the week after we are flying LGW to CAG but only on economy tickets.
Would I be right in thinking i can access the business lounge as I am Silver and I can guest my Wife in as she is only Bronze?
Thanks in advance
JJ

VCE could be any gate, coin flip between north and south!

Yes at LGW you can use the club lounge and take one guest in

When you enter the lounge, ask the person on the door if they can give you a "gate indication." It is not definite, but unless there is an airframe change, or you are really early (!) more often than not it is accurate

Galleries Club North almost always feels busier than Galleries Club South, as its smaller.

There're more than a few threads about the B gates and the lounge there
You need to remember that it's transit train there and a stoll back along the tunnel on -4 level

It is an oasis of calm, just need to leave a few minutes earlier to return to the A gates
