Can you collect Avios if you book through former staff discount?

Hello, I was just wondering if anyone knows if I book a flight through the BA former staff hotlines portal, will I be able to collect avios from the flight or is it exempt?

Hotlines earn avios/tier points based upon the booking class being secured.
