My parents flew through LHR on the way to PRG. They were held up for some time after their flight from the US landed. The flight to PRG took off about an hour late.

I see there is a sharp turn off 27R to avoid Windsor, should be interesting.

CCR now near enough full, and movements now to get close to the TV!

Taken this morning about 1137 - never seen it that busy before.

RIP Her late Majesty Queen Elizabeth Alexandra Mary.

I see there's a 77W coming in from ATH at the moment. This isn't a normally rostered aircraft, no?

My guess is that everyone arrived earlier than they needed to, myself included, and the lounges simply filled up.

These are normally related to cargo. Unlikely to be due to today's event.

Was the 4th aircraft to take off after departures resumed, but we are now in a race with the delayed BA115 and VS9 to JFK - so will be interesting to see who arrives first! (Virgin should as they took off 2 ahead of us, but the B77W behind us has a slight speed advantage!)
