BA Mainline BA Euroflyer Gatwick Long Haul and Short Haul Summer 2023

Hopefully allowed to open this thread to detail and discuss BA group route news and operations at London Gatwick for Summer Season 2023.
Below is updated list for Long Haul Summer 2023.
BA Euroflyer Summer 2023 short haul may be a few weeks away yet.
Hopefully we can assume BA mainline will operate daily to Jersey and Glasgow next summer.
If operational constraints continue at LHR we may see more mainline flights at Gatwick.

British Airways Planned Gatwick Long Haul Summer 2023 As of August 24th 2023. Further additions and changes anticipated.

I wonder if we could see the return of the Gatwick to Toronto summer seasonal.

Very TATL focused. Would love to see BA be innovative and dip their toes in the SE Asian market, eg Vietnam/Indonesia, particularly as the Oneworld network in the region has been decimated.

I expect the current planned network is where they anticipate the leisure market, especially premium leisure, want to go. I agree though that places like Bangkok or Phuket might be worth a go.
I also think mainline ought to consider an Edinburgh to Gatwick flight for connections a bit like the Glasgow service, especially with Virgin stopping Edinburgh to Bridgetown.
I think I read on a thread here or elsewhere that BA had a surprising number of people from Amsterdam connecting at Gatwick for Orlando. So maybe few more connections may be worth considering.

Is Vancouver a new destination from LGW? I don't remember seeing it before.

Is there any likelihood of daily flights to Venice from LGW in Summer 2023 or will they stick with the schedule from LHR?

Venice is operating from Gatwick this summer so I would expect it to operate again next summer.

I cannot remember Vancouver on BA from Gatwick before but happy to be corrected.

It helps explain why the LHR-YVR flight has dropped to a 777 for S23. A good move on BA's part given competition from WestJet.

Thanks Skipness I got the destination wrong!
I have edited my post.
Bridgetown looks to be kept winter seasonal at Gatwick for the time being. However I still believe there
is scope for a Edinburgh to Gatwick flight. They operated 4 daily pre-Covid. I know times are different but do not believe the
whole market has disappeared!
