LGW access to Aspire lounge

I am flying Club Europe from LGW with the whole nollag family next month: me, the missus and 3 kids

I understand that BA is still flying out of North terminal, which has no BA lounge: London Gatwick | Airport information | British Airways

Looking at the BA website it says the lounge is available to customers travelling in First and Club World.

Does this also apply to Club Europe? I am a lowly Silver card holder, if that makes any difference

Yes it does - however I imagine there will be restrictions on numbers, especially over Easter Hols

Thanks - is there any benefit / way to pre-book?

Not through BA. Maybe buying entrance ? Either way, I'd take the kids to one of the nicer restaurants / coffee shops in the terminal. I know it's a free benefit, but it's pretty ropey

I was there a couple of weeks ago on Sat morn. They allocated the Clubrooms on bottom floor exclusively for BA customers.. Fair sized space was never crowded and this was first Saturday of half term.....food was nothing to write home about but the drinks were free flowing

I think the numbers flying once the short haul is added in may make a difference to this

No details on opening times yet, although 5am seems to be the usual opening time for home base lounges.

Do we know if BA are moving back to the south terminal for the SS22 season ... and will their lounges reopen?

BA begins flying from South Terminal both long haul and short haul from March 29th. I believe lounges are open from then. Staff for the lounges have been recruited by Gatwick Ground Services the BA subsidiary that handles all BA flights at Gatwick.

The BA press team is holding a media party in the lounge on 29th AM so lets assume it is open :-)
