Thanks.
Is it self-service or do I have to order it?

The pastries and fruit are self-service. Honestly I didn't take note of the cereal and yoghourt situation.

Theoretically they are the same in offering. Depends where your gate is and where you come from security.

the offering is the same

'Best' is always subjective and will mean different things to different people

North has windows and views of the north runway which are great if flights are landing from windsor

North can be very busy especially prior to evening domestics (maybe less so at the moment)

You can always try both. I tend to clear fastrack security at north, head for the north lounge, see how busy it is, and ask the lounge angel on the door if there is a tentative gate number. Then i decide where i go

Lots of people would consider doing it elsewhere as well. Casinos, nightclubs, parties, and cruise ships for example. On the way to a Rubgy game. In a hotel with breakfast. There's six examples for starters

Any ideas what the champagne is in the galleries club lounges? Last went in November and it was self serve Prosecco which wasn’t great

I’d love to drink champagne every morning, but I think my boss would get upset if I was pickled during working hours…

So, I certainly make the most of my time at the airport whilst on holiday…

In Texas, depending on the day and county too! I was surprised when I was in DFW many years ago, that on Sunday the AC didn't start serving alcohol until noon. Good thing they didn't build the airport in a Sunday dry county.

I had a flight on Sunday at 0820 and had two glasses of champagne with my breakfast. Didn't drink anymore on the flight.

Generally two is my limit before a morning flight, but obviously once past midday all bets are off
