T5 galleries north lounge - early morning advice?
Hi all
We are thinking about a last minute trip over to Spain this weekend in Club Europe and wondering what the lounge offering is like at 6 in the morning? Is there breakfast? And are all the typical alcoholic drinks available like beer and champagne (as its a holiday! :-) )
Thanks
Matt

I agree and it could be argued a very British ritual. It starts when you go on your family holidays, and you may see your dad neck a pint with his full English. Then when you hit 18 you go on holiday to Ibiza with your mates partying. Once you become engaged you will embark on a stag/hen do. After you get married you may settle back a bit unless you are frequent flyer on upgrade travel who is an amenity creep and divulge on the champagne on offer and finally you have children.

You should come to some USA admirals clubs. People are waiting for the bar to open at 6am , 7am and 8am depending on state.
Each to their own i say.
Anyway back on topic, there are beers, Heineken and a brewdog Jetstream. There may or not be Heineken zero
The champers I'm unsure in the club lounges, but I think that is currently selfpour. It was on request before.
There are some threads here somewhere. Have a search on FT BA

Never understood people going to the gym at 6am myself but they are open at that time (like the club lounge bar) so there must be lots of people who are into that. Anywho, I'm with the OP my holiday starts when I reach the lounge. A glass of bubbles with my breakfast is the perfect start to any holiday IMHO.

You have made this exact point on several different threads. Why not chalk it down to something on which you dont agree with others, and leave it at that? Maybe dont feel the need to comment next time.

I once arrived into Athens just after midday, mildly tiddled, having been VERY well looked after by the Purser.
I don't get the booze police mentality. As long as people are enjoying themselves and not causing any bother, live and let live.

Do they also serve pastries? Like Croissants, Pain au chocolate and things like that?
