G-YMMU is off to Cardiff tomorrow for a complete refit, it will also mean the end of the Rockwell Collins IFE system.

It’s next planned flight is BA105/DXB on 05MAR.

That planned flight has now dropped off FR24. But nothing there about CWL, yet.

G-MIDT has recently moved from LGW to it's new base at LHR T3. Expect it's only a matter of time before IDX and IDY follow.

it’s the maintenance aspect. BA do not have enough engineers to run the full flying program, hence for summer the daily flights ex LHR has been slightly reduced and the leasing of AY to meet the expected flying demand. Terminal staff and crewing resources are now stabilising.

How does this BA Euroflyer ownership work in terms of swapping frames between LHR and LGW for cover? Can BA Mainline LHR crews no longer fly G-EUXK as before?

That is correct and vice versa.

I think BA management know its actually made things more complex in the long run and would never have wanted it like this... If anything, the savings will be minimal. Especially within the terms of the division it has created alone. However, the powers that be at IAG think the IB/I2 model works and that it would apply at BA... The reality is ofcourse different. But here we are.

It has now entered service on the BA2578 to TRN this morning, a few days later than planned.

So ZBJE is shown departing CWL imminently as BA9174, do we know if she has got a shiny new CS she's been there since Jan 29th?

Unfortunately it is still in CW layout and the B788's aren't scheduled for the CS refit until September / October of this year.
