W21 Schedule BA 787-10

Since we are 3,5 weeks away from the new W21 schedule, I was looking into the schedule of the BA 787-10 flights and noticed a small issue:
At this moment there are at least 3 destinations planned with the 787-10, Chicago, Boston and Dallas in the November schedule, while BA only has 2 planes operating at this moment due to the production issues at Boeing. Planes might be delivered at the end of October, but no firm date yet.

Are there also other 787-10 destinations already announced? SEA is moving to 787-8 and -9 for the W21 schedule.

Both Chicago rotations are shown as being operated by the 787-9 and not a -10 in November

Chicago at least was originally showing 787-1 for the 296/7 rotation for much of October. That was changed to 789 in the first half of September.

BA only has 2 planes operating at this moment because BA only wants 2 planes operating at this moment. C/D/E are all ready for delivery as soon as BA wants them and has the engineering staff capacity to finish the introduction to service cabin fit and preparations.

My LHR-ATL on Dec 14 was originally a 781, and got switched to a 789. Return on Jan 4 is a 781, currently.

FAA have banned 787-10 deliveries. That should be resolved very soon though.

Do we know how many 787-10s are currently in storage waiting for delivery for BA? It must be quite a handful by now? And do they already have cabins fitted or is that something that still needs to be done?

Three, C/D/E. The last I heard they have WTP and WT fitted but BA still needs to add F and CW suites, but that may be old info and it's been done by Boeing while they've been sitting around.

Boeing has been fitting Club and First (the ones that have it) on all 787s AFAIK.

That's good, sounds like they'll pretty much be ready to enter the fleet as soon as they get delivered.

My flights to ORD and back in January are both scheduled to be 787-10. Who knows if it will remain that way? I'm just excited to have an opportunity to fly in the Club Suite.

I wouldn't bet on that. If history is anything to go by, Boeing delivers planes with quite a lot of minor defects that need rectifying and there are tractor factories in Tatarstan with better quality control than Boeing Charleston.
