Yes a ba gold or silver on an EI flight to LHR should have access. The flight doesn’t have to be a BA codeshare or on a BA ticket. The reverse is true as well, so when in LHR T2 heading to DUB on EI.

Thanks for that. Tried again and got another agent who let us in. Seems they are super (over) vigilant because so many people try to get in that don’t actually have access. (I think this is more due to the insanely complex access rules rather than chancers trying to blag their way in).

Is the T1 Airport Lounge still accessible to eligible BA passengers? My BA booking for later this week tells me "We're sorry British Airways does not currently offer a lounge at this airport. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.". The OneWorld website says BA does have access. I'm assuming the BA website is just wrong. Unless anything has changed recently?

Yes, still access. The lounge is right by and above T1 security, I was there last week.

There have been capacity issues in Dublin recently where passengers have been turned away - not BA CE ones, but people trying to get in with PP, LoungeClub etc. More likely to be IT glitch than inspired expectations management…
