But yes, back on topic. Most likely PPE. I know from Russian friends, Volga is at a max in terms of capacity

I bet BA is thinking it should have kept the dedicated freighters

I bet they’re not thinking that at all. Why would they have kept freighters that were losing money hand over fist just on the off chance there would be a once in a generation pandemic? Heart over head there, I think.

As for the Scotland freighters, some but by no means all have been carrying PPE. The KUL was machine parts. BA will take whatever business they can get right now.

Aside from PPE, given the issues at Felixstowe, we can probably expect more freight only flights in the coming weeks.

They've tried. Back in 2006 they were offering flights to London (Prestwick).

This post has no relevance to British Airways.

Yet it remains.

It does make fun of a Scottish woman. It seems that this is allowed.

BA flying BKK-GLA is of zero relevance to me because I live near neither but the thread is informative none the less. The Scottish woman in question happens to be the elected head of the SNP, is this where the humour fails? For someone who (whether you like it or not) is viewed by many these days as the media face of Scotland it seemed a light hearted enough comment. BoJo with sleeves rolled up unloading PPE at LHR for a publicity stunt would be just as cringe worthy bit I wouldn't be getting on the defensive about it.
