You have saved me asking the question. My flight from ALC-LHR is zeroed out and has been for the past 48 hours. Id love to know why this is zeroed out - I suppose that it could be technically showing full as there was a flight the day after that was cancelled and maybe the passengers were moved on to that. Who can tell?

PUCCI GALORE are they still zeroed? I’m on next Sunday’s LHR-ALC and back 2 weeks after. Need to get out to see the in-laws and I’ve had 4 VLC flights cancelled over the past 3 weeks. I’m living in fear these go as well. 😔

Yes - it still is - but here is the thing - the outbound to ALC is still being sold but the inbound is zeroed out. corporate-wage-slave - thank you. I admit myself somewhat perplexed - would you think that if this was cancelled we could ask to be sent via MAD?

After having my LHR-ZAG and DBV-LHR flights canceled I managed to rebook to SPU and DBV for nearly the same dates (mid September). Do we think September flights are safe from cancelations now so I can book accommodation or wait another week?

I would say the mid-september flights are probably reasonably safe ( but there have been reports of some flight cancellations within 2 weeks) but another week might be better. If possible I would try to ensure that the accomodation is refundable.

Thanks for the response PUCCI GALORE - as a data point for reference I’ve had two lots of MAN - ALC cancelled over the past year and both allowed alternatives via Madrid. It involves 3 flights vs 1 which isn’t ideal but it gets us there. I know these are extraordinary times and I’m just an occasional flyer but it’s a data point for you that they’re prepared to do this.

Never seen a schedule like this before - on this coming Sunday 6th, BA has two departures to MXP at just 15 minutes apart. One is at 07:00 and the other is at 07:15 in the morning, a Y ticket on the 07:00 is £57 and the one 15 minutes later is £201. Not sure they are going to sell that many on the 07:15
Only explanation I can think of for those flights being just 15 minutes apart is one of them was probably going to LIN originally and has been re-scheduled for MXP instead.

Flight booked to Helsinki for Sat 26th...obviously can't go due to Finland entry restrictions
So needed to call to cancel
0800 number this morning at 10am cutting off
Redialed 0800 number at 7pm
was connected within a few minutes
All cancelled and refund promised to card within 10 days
The whole process from picking up phone was around 10 mins, including a pleasant conversation with a nice geordie lady.
So this could be a good time to call
MMB is now completely empty... Which is horrible
