Best number to contact BA on
I know BA must still be hectic in their call centres, but I wanted to speak to someone about a flight upgrade. I can’t do this online as the departure airport differs from the arrival airport
Most of the numbers I’ve tried seem to be geared towards cancellations and refunds and I get the message ‘we can’t take your call at the moment’
Does anyone know the best/correct number to call in. The booking was made with cash and part avios.

Given the number of cancellations released into the wild yesterday, I’m not surprised you have a problem!
I believe all calls (apart from YouFirst) end up going to the basic number. Late in the day can be better, but far from guaranteed.
