My point is that people craving to fly in July/August are not financiers or people checking on their Swiss accounts (I could not resist), but leisure people going on beach vacation. ZRH is not such a destination and you would have to take another flight to get to there. Sure there are people enjoying the Swiss countryside in the summer, but many will rather stay in UK for that purpose unless you have a second home nearby.

With the ban (or 14-day isolation) in effect, it's not surprising that SFO<->LHR loads are very very light. In fact, according to the Expert Flyer seat map, today's flight from SFO to LHR is quite empty (0 First, 1 Business, 3 PE, and about 12 Economy). Can BA justify even running this non-stop flight with essentially freight only? Or is it run just to hold slots at one end or the other. Seems like an amazing waste of fuel.

What hapens if one flight it cancelled but not all. EG my INV-LHR has been swapped to th afternoon flight but takes off after my my next flight takes off. Do I get refund or just a voucher. Also, what happens to tthe GUF I used to go from PE-CW? Can I still use this on a cash or only on a voucher in a years time? The voucher had to be used by Apr 2020.
You Guf will be refunded. Has it been extended yet?

Thanks for the quick reply KARFA and excuse me editing the OP. I realised I put it in the wrong thread because the flight is in Sept ad couldnt see how to delete it. My GUF had been extended from Oct to April already.

no problem. You should be able to get at least one more 6 month extension of the GUF if that’s helps.
