Got optimistic seeing all these replies so went to check my bookings. No cancellations yet. Flights with other airlines that I hoped would survive have already been cancelled, but my BA flights for July are still going strong today. Fingers crossed they go soon... :/

Surely that will go to, I thought there was a thinking a while ago Heathrow routes were more likely to stay than Gatwick ones ? Still all seems premature to me, I know we are not yet on the preferred list of countries Greece will yet allow in, but it is being reviewed weekly and they said they were hopeful it would be by early July, suppose the loads alreayd booked were too low?

Also, BA is gradually cancelling flights, and it seems that they've started with Heathrow flights, Gatwick flights should be cancelled later on after they've done adjusting LHR flights.

As I mentioned before, probably ATH would be the only Greek route operating in July. Maybe JMK, CFU, and CHQ depending on the situation.

Also, keep in mind that BA is a prestige carrier rather than a leisure carrier. If Easyjet, Jet2, Condor, Ryanair, Smartwings, Norwegian, TUI, etc... continues flying to smaller islands, this does not mean that BA would.
Also, there is an extraordinarily high demand for Mykonos. Believe me or not, Mykonos is one of the top 3 islands that attract tourists. Also, the broad visiting Rhodes and Mykonos are completely different. Also, the key of JMK is that there are already BA CityFlyer flights from MAN, GLA, EDI so this means that the UK population ( who prefer to fly BA ) enjoys Mykonos. By the way, Rhodes is also popular and has the potential to be resumed in July.
Heraklion is a Gatwick-only route, as far as it stands, BA prefers not to resume operations from Gatwick. Crete is a tourist hotspot so if they would resume flights over there, LHR-CHQ is more likely.

Yes, all Greek island airports are opening on 1 July but this does not mean all airlines supposed to fly would resume flights on 1 July.

I am sweating on my LGW-BGI flight on 4 July. I know it will probably be cancelled (and we don't want to go given the current circumstances) but the balance payment is due in 2 weeks time and I don't want to hand over a wedge of cash and then wait ages to get it back from BA.

I wouldn’t worry about being able to book Greece for this summer, Brits are not welcome because of our government’s poor handling of Covid 19

You are able to take a voucher of course equivilent to the money you have paid thus far right up to the time your balance is due on the 13th of June assuming they have not cancelled and you still dont want to travel.

I had a couple choices so was able to book on an earlier flight the same day. Original flight was 11.30, now moved to 10:05.
Seemed like maybe demand was down... as opposed to just canning the whole route.

Just had 2 flights from LGW to Faro in early July and one flight from Ibiza to LGW on 21 July cancelled (all redemption bookings). Rebooking options included to/from LGW, LCY and LHR so doesn't seem like it's a blanket LGW cancellation, unless they haven't pulled those other flights yet - think i'll hold off a little while before i do anything.
