If you're going to use "allegedly" then it would be helpful if you also stated the source of your information.

The oneworld site hasn't been updated, still refers to the BA lounge in BHD and that it's temporarily closed.
For JER it's showing no lounge available.

An update on the BHD Aspire lounge for BA flyers.

Whilst available for BA pax with the appropriate status/ticket it currently operates on limited hours at the moment and closes at 1730hrs. That means that the later flights to GLA at 1900 and LCY at 1910 won't get access (as I found to my cost this week!)

From 31 August this will change and the new closing time will be 1930hrs and the problem will resolve!

Do you know if the “Aspire Lounge” currently open is the old Aspire Lounge space (previously the Flybe lounge way back) or the old BA lounge space rebranded. Given the investment in the BA lounge not that long ago, it would be strange not to use it in preference, especially as it is larger. My understanding was that previously both were run by Swissport.

Its the old BA lounge rebranded. The old aspire space is closed for refurbishment I think.

When the lounge first re-opened it was excellent, but even in just a few months this place has noticeably gone down-hill.

When I was there a couple of weeks ago it was filthy, orders weren’t coming because staff weren’t paying attention to whatever it was that they use to see the mobile orders. When orders came, food was cold, drinks warm and the wrong items.

Hopefully it does improve.

Very sad. I've not used the BHD lounge for several years but it was one of my favourites... let's hope things improve.

I visited this lounge for the first time on Tuesday. As a space it is fine with plenty of seating options and a nice view.

However the food offer is woeful.

Does anyone know about guesting into the Lounge as it in no longer a BA Lounge?
Mr S and I are both Silver, travelling with friends with no status, but on the same BA flight, will we be able to Guest them in ?
And through Fast Track security, although have never found security very busy?

Thanks,
