Non-senior staff in first
I understand that the problem is that non-senior staff are now serving in the premium cabins. Is that right? While those with all the experience, tend to be down the back now. If true – it’s completely bonkers and probably explains what went wrong, hence your comment. All that knowledge and experience more or less going to waste.

But what has happened to the CCR? Dreadful menu and food.

So pleased that you had good experiences, it can be done when you have good crew.

The fish, salmon and one prawn looks a bit on the dry side? Did you enjoy it?

I have not, but my recollection is that all SPML in F are the same as those in CW? Pretty sure that was the case since well before the pandemic. Happy to be corrected if I've got that wrong.

Seems very odd to me to have beef as a starter and main on so many of these menus. It somewhat limits your options if you don't want beef followed by beef.

Attentive crew, champagne was offered (and taken) top off before departure. Turndown service was also offered and accepted. The foods and menu look nearly identical from previous posts.

I just received the menu for BA189 LHR-EWR this month. It's exactly the same as posted by mpnakh in https://www.flyertalk.com/forum/34042351-post361.html
BA182 (the 11PM JFK-LHR) is a bit different, though:
