Recap of the posting guidelines
1) Use this thread to mention you will be travelling through an airport such as LHR T5 on a given time and date. You can also mention non airport locations if you wish. A brief sentence or two will do, but please use this wiki format:
5-MAY-2019 / 17:00-19:00 / LHR T5 / FlyerTalk username / Maybe late arriving due to connections
2) Do NOT mention lounge guesting, hosting or requesting in the wiki or thread. Just say you'll be (e.g.) at T5. In a change to the rules for 2020, you may also mention the lounge you are planning on visiting, but again please do not post guest offers or requests. It will be assumed you are airside unless you say otherwise.

3) Edit the wiki entry if you can, but if you cannot edit it one of the many volunteers here will happily do it for you, just post your information below in the above format, be sure to include date, time and location. You can edit wikis after 90 days and 90 posts.

4) Use Private Messages to fix arrangements and rendez-vous location. One PM to the person mentioned in the wiki only, please, no repeats and definitely no hassling. If you don't get a reply, then that's life, not everyone has the time to attend to FT matters immediately, so try a PM to someone else instead.

Feel free to edit your own entry directly here, or post in the thread below instead and someone will assist. You need 90 posts and 90 days membership before you can edit the wiki.

I’ve done that a few times, it’s rather surreal being sat in a busy restaurant on a table for one surrounded by happy couples being lovey-dovey. Be prepared for some perplexed stares frm those probably wondering if you’ve been stood-up! 😂

Haha, I normally get stared at when dining alone in France at best of times..................perhaps I'll bring one of my son's teddy bears as my date!!!

Well this is the travel meet up thread, so perhaps you should add a Wiki entry for the time & location for dinner just in case some other lucky guy on here is spared the expense of taking the Mrs out on Valentines. 😂😂😂
