I bet quite a few of us will buy them (myself included).
There is an Olympus engine complete with afterburner floating around if you're interested. A concorde engine for about £750,000 seems like a bargain to me.

Maybe, but not everyone is an aviation nerd and some people may have seen this as a piece of junk that would end up in the kitchen drawer, never to be used. Makes sense to get it to someone who values it more.

Many years ago I was having dinner with close friends of my parents in NYC. This happened to coincide with a Concorde flight I had. Somehow this made its way into the conversation and the husband, who flew on both the BA and AF Concordes regularly got up from dinner, walked into his study, and came back with a box full of Concorde gifts he had been given over the years. He said that, while nice, he didn't really care for all the swag and said I should take what I wanted. I think I pretty much took it all!

I would rather BA gave me a few jerry cans of jetA1 drained from the tanks. Cut with cooking oil it works rather well in diesel cars.

A friend of mine (cabin crew) received theirs today. They have no need or interest in the item so have put it on eBay. I did suggest it might make a great Christmas present for a friend who may want and appreciate one but that fell on deaf ears when they saw how much others are going for....

It looks really nice - I've bought a couple from Plane Tags in the past (747 / A320) and I see that they even have a Titan 2 Missile skin for sale :-0 https://planetags.com/

BA is missing a trick by not selling them for profit or charity (or maybe giving them to CCR / GGL......)

Are the colours random, or given to a particular staff group?
