Odd seatmaps showing in MMB for the LHR-MAD 777s
Hi All - regular on the LHR-MAD route especially on the 777 rotation which 9/10 times lands me in a W seat or the occasional CW upgrade. For this week's flight though the seat map has me stumped with a 2-4-2 layout in Y (See below). Anyone know which model this is? Could it be a leased plane substituting? Goes back to row 40.

FYI, aircraft in 77J code at the moment are G-YMMA/R/S/T/U. These are 777-200ER with 3 class cabin layout

Interesting CWS. SO we picked 26 AB exit row. Sounds like C will go unsold in theory then for a nice flight. Will watch for 12-14 opening of course. Usually happens at T-72 if I recall correctly. As ever - thanks all for the fast advice!

That was my previous assumption as well when the 777 started on this route but have been on many rotations where W opened up and Y has been far from full on boarding. We will see...

The front end. Bit of a disappointment if you’d booked it when it was a 777-300 with the possibility of FLUB ....

My uneducated guess is that, because the front few rows in the “economy” section of this flight do actually have a 2-4-2 configuration, the software has assumed this is the configuration for the whole cabin, and re-aligned the 3-3-3 back section to fit. That ‘s left nowhere for the C seats to go, so they have been swept under the virtual carpet.
