There may be all sorts of health/personal reasons why the OP might want convenient access to the toilet. It wouldn't be a usual response, but if it matters to the OP, so be it.

I assume when BA decided on the aircraft spec, they decided that managing without an F toilet in the hardly unusual event of single unit unserviceability was an acceptable compromise of the F (which is actually IMHO a J+) hard product. I only ever use BA F on the cheap redemptions via AA Miles, so fine by me, but if I was paying top whack cash fare, I think I'd be unhappy, especially with the lack of pre-warning if the problem has been ongoing for a while or on a LHR originating trip. I doubt whether many passengers would change travel plans, but it would be courteous to at least warn.

It is certainly fair to say I would be a bit annoyed if the toilet has been broken for some time and not fixed, equally in this day and age there is an argument we should just be glad the 789 got F with BA and if a single possible faulty toilet is the price to pay then its worth it!

If anyone from BA Customer Relations is reading, perhaps you should add this to your "Faulty 787 F bogs" crib sheet as the standard cut-and-paste reply!
