There are fewer people going back on the 22nd than going out on the 21st, so suggest it'll be best to do the return one as Minibus#3, which I'll organise. Any takers for that, let me know.

Gazi said to email in advance through the form on the website if more than 8 so that they can put an additional guide on- he also said they will do bespoke *free walking tours* for groups at different times. Most people seemed to tip between 1000-2000 lek so £7-14 although there was no pressure at all to donate at the end of the tour.

OK everyone... bad news from me...
Some of you might have been following the thread I started about wearing masks in lounges and on aircraft. There followed some very interesting discussions and the upshot is that because of the coronavirus risk, combined with the fact that my wife is diabetic and has had pneumonia previously so is in the higher risk group, we have decided to pull out of TIA.
It isn't so much as the risk of catching it (which is a worry in itself) but more the fact that the healthcare provision in Albania is poor... even in Tirana... so if we did catch it then the care that would be available would not be the best. If we were going to somewhere where the healthcare was good, such as USA, most of western Europe or Scandinavia etc, then we would probably not cancel. Also, it is worth noting that Albania is across the sea from Italy and Italy is not managing to contain things as well as other countries. There could be many Italians in Tirana and that is another worry for us.
I look forward to other do's but we might curtail our non-essential travel until the virus has blown itself out... possibly 1-2 years if SARS is anything to go by, or until there is a vaccine.
