Quick Question about UuA with non-OW flights on itinerary
Hi all,
Can’t quite find an answer for this, so a quick question for my learned friends...
If you have an itinerary say INV-LHR-YVR-YLW and the YVR-YLW flights are on WestJet, can you UuA the LHR-YVR leg? I thought that in the past this wasn’t possible, just checking whether this has changed?
Thanks in advance

Did you look at the Upgrade Using Avios thread?

Post 7 will give you the rules - how did you book and pay ? Are they BA stock tickets?

The answer is very easy to find
If it's a 125 BA ticket, not through a TA, there is actual availability and it's in an eligible booking class then that's ok subject to the other restrictions and details in the Dashboard as kindly pointed out by mikefly ^

Yes, you can call and ask to upgrade only the BA operated LHR-YVR leg. I do this regularly* - UUA one or more BA sectors within an itinerary that includes non BA coded or operated flights (eg AA or AS). Usual rules apply - must be BA ticket, BA flight, etc.
