LGW > JFK 777 - Likely to be 10 across with updated IFE?
Hi all,
Looking at a trip to JFK in Feb out of LGW which will be on a 777. Are they generally using the re-configured 777's on flagship routes like JFK or is it just pot luck? Would much rather have the new Panasonic IFE in J than the Rockwell Collins!
Ta!

Generally they are running the newer aircraft - with Panasonic - on this sector though that can change, LGW doesn't have any spare aircraft so if something goes wrong it's make do and mend time. If you give the dates of travel someone can check, or you can check yourself by looking at the seat map.

Just to let anyone else know who may be in a similar position. Booked the tickets and the aircraft is showing a 32J configuration, which would mean it's a reconfigured aircraft with new Panasonic EX3 IFE.
