Indeed - the original question of this thread is about TP runs, and we now know that the membership will be effective - if all goes according to plan - in mid-2020 so that is very decent speculation territory I would think!

Good news, especially since LATAM seems t want to jump ship earlier than Sept 1. Although some parts of Africa will be easier available, the loss of LATAM's South America network will be harder to replace.

It seems we don't have confirmed AT earning/burning rates yet.

Are there really likely to be decent Tier Point runs? AT has very little competition on most of its routes and is priced accordingly.

According to the RAM website, they've joined oneworld and the oneworld logo is visible next to their logo.
However, there is no information about TP and Avios accruals on RAM flights yet.

Does CMN have showers in the lounge? I think not = inferior hub for TATL transfers

their new 787 seats look fine, but not sure if they might is last minute swaps like qatar and leave you high and dry.

will await trip reports...

I looked at EF and can see following selling classes for AT LHR-CMN:

Revenue classes
Economy: N, S, O, V, Q, L, M, K, H, B, Y
Business: D, C, J

Do note:
  • When looking at domestic flights at random dates, different combinations of selling classes are sold (generally only higher classes (M, K, H, B and Y) but cheap fares).
  • When checking availabilities more selling classes appear, including I class and the following Economy classes: T, R, W, P and G

I assume, but that's only a guess, that H, B and Y are the highest class and will therefore earn the most TPs. I don't know if the lower selling classes in Y will be grouped together or if there will be a distinction between Y "lowest" and Y "low".

What I found interesting is that the cheapsest filed fare in Business Class (D selling class) between LHR and CMN is fully refundable.

Reward classes
Economy reward: X
Business reward: U

https://www.royalairmaroc.com/int-en...s/Award-Ticket

There are 2 reward bands for Europe;
  • Europe 1 being Spain and Portugal
  • Europe 2 being the rest of Europe including the UK.
Africa is divided in 3 bands, the Middle East and America are a separate band.

Hm, can't find AT in the dropdown menu for TP/Avios collection information though.

https://www.britishairways.com/trave...r/public/en_tr

Edit: The following information is shown under your link though:

  • Included: Royal Air Maroc (AT).
  • Minimum Avios: No.
  • Avios tier bonus? No.
  • Collect Tier Points? Yes.

Fare class Avios
Economy lowest (W, P, G) 25%
Economy low (K, M, L, V, S, N, Q, O, T, R) 50%
Economy flexible (Y, B, H) 100%
Business flexible (J, C, D, I) 125%
Mostly the same as AY, except full Y earns 100% (70% on AY)

Me neither, that's why I'm at wait mode.

But, probably like most of the other OW carriers; the TP's below would apply, however, it's not guaranteed

Flights between 0-2000 miles

Economy lowest - 5 TP
Economy low - 10 TP
Economy flexible - 20 TP
Business flexible - 40 TP

Flights between 2000-6000 miles

Economy lowest - 20 TP
Economy low - 35 TP
Economy flexible - 70 TP
Business flexible - 140 TP

Flights over 6000 miles

Economy lowest - 20 TP
Economy low - 40 TP
Economy flexible - 80 TP
Business flexible - 160 TP

Is this up to date?
https://www.royalairmaroc.com/se-en/...ns/our-network

edit, found these:

140 TPs short haul from CMN

ARN
