747 refurbishment

hello, I will be flying BA to Seattle on 747. I' am just wondering if BA also refurbished the economy class on this route?

Welcome to FT Ron17

Which cabin are you in? If you look at the seat plan, you will be able to tell if it's an 86 seat Club World aircraft guaranteed refurb:

British Airways Boeing 747-400 14F/86J/30W/145Y Seat Map

Otherwise 52 seat Club World - in which case slim chance, but might be a "refreshed" aircraft :

British Airways Boeing 747-400 14F/52J/36W/235Y Seat Map

Same rule applies if in Economy or Economy Plus

Hello Ron17 and welcome to Flyertalk and the BA Board. I see your question has been answered so not much to add really and thanks for joining us here. There is more information on many BA and oneworld related matters a thing in the BA Forum Dashboard which you may possibly find helpful.

At the moment, that's a 747 86J version which is refurbished (^) and has Panasonic IFE. More info in the Forum Dashboard.

However, and many airlines do this not just BA but keep a regular ish eye on the seatmap as there can be aircraft changes and aircraft type swaps for many reasons but I hope this holds out for you.

Almost definitely 52J as these are T3 only 747s (apart from very rare aircraft changes)

However they are being refreshed eventually
