Wiki started to track the FTers who have taken up the CPT companion fare for the purpose of potential meet-up / DO in CPT where there is an overlap with FTers.

The BA Dream Ticket meet-up thread (aka LHR-CPT F Companion Fare)
I thought it would be a good idea since everyone is jumping on this deal to track who has taken the dream ticket offer and see if there is a potential date for a meet up/DO in CPT for some FT-ers!
January 2019
11/01 - LHR-CPT flylikelinz +1
18/01 - CPT-LHR flylikelinz +1
maybe one of the mods can turn this into a wiki?
very excited!!!

The background to this can currently be seen by this link:
https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb.../dream-tickets
and within that there there is a special offer LHR to Cape Town, with a flight price of £4,052 per couple (£2,026 per person) in First class is subject to limited availability. The T&Cs are below, with the key one being: "Flights must be booked between 12:00 GMT 4 July 2018 and 23:59 GMT 18 July 2018 (the “Booking Period”) for selected travel between 01 January 2019 to 31 March 2019. All travel must be completed by 31 March."
https://www.britishairways.com/en-gb...-fare-tcs.html
There are some very cheap European flights on offer too, such as £28 fares to Grenoble (though it was advertised as Lyon, somewhat Ryanairesque).
Wikis do not need a Moderator to be created, indeed the whole principle is that it is crowd-sourced.

Note: the offer is far far better during the flash sale until 10th July. Add car hire for a week and you'll get a further £555 off, taking the total to £3582 total. i.e. each First seat costs under £900 per passenger in each direction...

Was planning to book QR, but this was a lot cheaper, so Mrs E2S and me are off in Jan 1AK
My niece & her hubby have booked for March - no status, so they have 5A/4A. They have always travelled at the back of the bus, so an absolute treat for them, pity CPT goes from T3, as I'm sure they would have loved using the CR
