Name That Seat! Thread - Guidelines

The aim of the game is to guess the seat number and aircraft type from a quirky/fun photo of (or from) a seat on a BA-operated flight in the current fleet.* There ought to be at least one clue of some sort in the photo, so we don't - for example - run the risk of endless Economy seat guesses.

There are only three rules to follow:

1) Photo posters: remember to keep it to one 'live' photo at a time (i.e. check that the last photo posted has been guessed correctly before posting another).
2) Guessers: you must guess a seat number and aircraft type.

3) Guessers: in the event of a wrong guess, please wait a minimum of 10 minutes before guessing again (i.e. let someone else have a chance at guessing before you do so again).

Good luck!

* Depending on how popular the thread is, we might - in the future - open it up to seats on aircraft types retired from the current BA fleet.

Name that seat!

I've been extremely impressed by how many BAEC FT-ers can not only name the aircraft type and variant, but often the actual seat number, captured in a photo.

Thus I thought I'd start this thread to see if it caught on, using more or less the same rules as the Where in the world am I? thread.

Quirky/fun photos of seats (always on BA metal) are most welcome, and I think there ought to be a clue of some sort in the photo, so we don't run the risk of endless Y seat guesses for example.

Edit: remember to keep it to one live photo at a time.

So here's an easy one to get us going, as it clearly limits the possibilities to only a few options.

Good luck!

Yes! Clearly I've underestimated just how well FT-ers know their Chosen Specialist Subject! Someone might try a trickier one...

Another reasonably easy one, although I'm expecting aircraft type as well as seat number.

Either 9F or 23F on an A321? Not sure if there's a difference from that angle...

9F? 23F has two rows of two seats in front, I think.

Edit: actually I can't tell either from this photo!

The crew seat on the A321 is now forward facing in row 9.

That's not an A321 though, looks like a 787 to me. Thankfully never been on one in Y.

On closer inspection, it looks like the aisle floor lighting is right next to the rear-facing crew seat, which would make it too narrow for a 321. Is it somewhere down the back of a B767? I've never been down there...

EDIT: having consulted the BA Source seat map, I'm going for 27K on a B767.

It is a BA 767 and down the back but you have to name the seat otherwise you can't win this one
