Name That Seat! Thread - Guidelines

The aim of the game is to guess the seat number and aircraft type from a quirky/fun photo of (or from) a seat on a BA-operated flight in the current fleet.* There ought to be at least one clue of some sort in the photo, so we don't - for example - run the risk of endless Economy seat guesses.

There are only three rules to follow:

1) Photo posters: remember to keep it to one 'live' photo at a time (i.e. check that the last photo posted has been guessed correctly before posting another).
2) Guessers: you must guess a seat number and aircraft type.

3) Guessers: in the event of a wrong guess, please wait a minimum of 10 minutes before guessing again (i.e. let someone else have a chance at guessing before you do so again).

Good luck!

* Depending on how popular the thread is, we might - in the future - open it up to seats on aircraft types retired from the current BA fleet.

If you count an ATA wet lease 727 to BA in about 1987/8 then they did. I flew on it from Gatwick to Edinburgh.

So, it's on show somewhere - they're protecting the seats from grubby hands as people walk by and this isn't a picture taken when it was an active aircraft..? Blimey, I feel like Sherlock Holmes

... is it a Comet? Seems a bit newer than that

Ok maybe,,

Plus I assume for flying Ryanair, a BA forum Ambassador would face an immediate court-martial!

Looking at the weather, I'd say somewhere in Scotland...

It's Lothian Region parked up at East Fortune!
Worth a visit, and not just for Concorde.

Even the very FFr's, which I am not really, use the LCC's. Can't beat point to point sometimes!

Indeed, it's at East Fortune in East Lothian where Concorde is too. Lots of aircraft around and a very good day out too!

I really enjoyed a vintage one, although I am not long enough flying to have to remember the real classics!

Neither am I but according to Wiki: The last aircraft was removed from regular service with BA in October 1992.
