Thanks a lot for posting this tip brightstar - just booked INV-EWR return with AMEX for a trip I needed to do. 580 TPs will also secure me CCR for another year.

I hope they keep these ex-INV fare deals going. 789 to EWR too which is a bit of a bonus to arrive in a better state.

Now to book my LHr-INV B2B in CE on BA.com....

Just FYI the new BA Luxury Sale is out, with holiday packages. If you don't mind 4* ; ). Some deals to NY in CW for £1388, Vancouver around £1600 etc. All include 3-5 nights in pretty decent hotels. BKK is included around £1600 as well, though with that one you may do better on QR deal.

Looks like the Ibis Rotherham East to me, the one next to the 'all you can get for £5' buffet place, but I could be mistaken.

On this fare you definitely want to be going via HKG on the A380. You get the new bedding (though the oversized sanitary towel they put down as a mattress might as well not be there, but the other parts of the bedding are definitely an improvement), better IFE, and a much more comfortable flight experience than you do on BA9 or BA10 direct to BKK on those 777 birds BA purchased from the Wright Brothers.
Would you be able to give an example routing via HKG on this fare please? I can find AMS to BKK for 1300 in late june but it's on the old BA9 / BA10!

See the linked post in the wiki in the TP run thread for fare details. Routing via HKG/SIN/KUL is possible.
