Based on recent flash fares which have been honoured (EDI-PEN) I am hoping those folk who have grabbed this will be able to enjoy their booked flights !

At last I can offer something back to this thread rather than the 'take take' I've done over the years.
With a very open mind about where to spend New Years I bagged AMS to BEY via LHR today for a little over £750.00 each in J. As well as visiting somewhere nothing like I've visited before. This is one of the lowest CW J fares I've seen if not the lowest
With positioning flights to AMS this has netted 380 TP and I've also been able to take part in the double Avios promotion. The only snag is that the flight home is at 8am on New Years Day. I'm travelling out on the 28th.

Hi all, I need to visit HKG and SIN before my collection year ends on 8th Nov. I need 490TP so QR ex AMS seems the best bet.
There's a decent enough fare at 1900GBP from 23Oct to 30Oct from AMS-BKK. The fare rules state:
5 STOPOVERS PERMITTED ON THE PRICING UNIT
LIMITED TO 1 FREE AND 4 AT USD 200.00 EACH.
But i can't seem to get it to price up properly adding in a stop in HKG and SIN (comes out at 11k!) Is a kind soul able to help me out please??

The cheaper QR AMS-BKK fares seem to have a routing limitation: AMS-DOH-BKK.
If you can only get the price you want by flying that route and no other, then that would be my guess as to why the fare can't be used to route via HKG and/or SIN.

Anyone have any creative ideas for a West Coast US -> Europe return around the Christmas/New Year period? Best I can see is around $3k/pp
I feel like in years gone by BA have offered off flights cheap for dates between Christmas and New Year, but nothing so far this year?

The cheap flight for Xmas New Year were indeed available a few months ago with the six month advance purchase. I’m off to LAS inc car for £1300. I’d ride it out a few more weeks, every year recently has been either very cheap J fare or a release of extra reward space. Either way it’s been in 3/4th weekend of November

Thank you for the clarification, although I'm curious why the fare rules state that stops are permissable for 200usd a piece? Also, given the routing, would the basic AMS-DOH-BKK still yield 520TP? If so I can always just get cheap intra Asia flights once in bkk. Just seems a shame to miss out on the intra Asia J class for 200usd!
