Double Avios can be earned on up to eight sectors, on new flights only, booked after registration and flown before 31 December 2017. Double Avios will be awarded before any cabin or tier bonuses on all tickets except reward flights.

Airport Upgrade Promotion (AUP) sectors earn a bonus at the base level for the new cabin. For example, an original Euro Traveller fare that attracts 125 Avios will get 500 Avios as a bonus after AUP to Club Europe .

Does this obviously open up any good MR opportunities? I'm thinking WT+ ex-Switzerland to the middle east, or ex-Sweden to USA.

For a Gold, looks like you can get ~32,652 avios WT+ ARN-LAX for £578, which isn't super great, but if this can be optimised, I might be tempted.

Why am I never lucky with these promos? I don't think I have any booking to make that would be eligible.

Yes, apologies, a rushed typo, duly corrected.

Come again?
LOL, the entire second half of the sentence is redundant

I too have booked a load of flights already.

Does a POUG change an existing booking to a "new" one to take part in this promo?

Glitchy

On registration, I just get this message (MS Edge, Win10) :

"British Airways offer registration"
<and lots of white space>

It must have worked though, because when I try again, I get :

"British Airways offer registration
You are already registered for this offer. "

There are options such as GOT-LHR-LAS-LAX / LAX-SJC-LHR-GOT.

Problem is that it only works for 8 sectors and that's 6 there (assuming it will work on the AA flights as part of a BA booking).
Might be a bit of a waste for the short haul bits though.

Sure last time they had the triple Avios promo, I missed a couple of LHR-EU flights in order to maximise Avios on the LHR-LAX / SFO / SIN sectors.

I had one booking that was still under 24 hours old, so I called to cancel it this morning, and have just re-booked it after registering for the offer. The new booking is showing the same total Avios earned figure as the cancelled booking: presumably this is normal and the bonus Avios will be added after the flight?

Yes, that's what has happened in the past.

And, as seems typical for BA, no email confirmation.

I've added a wiki to the head of the thread to emphasise to new readers that this offer is for new bookings only.

I assume IB coded but BA operated flights don't count right? shame as work is going to book me on those as they are on average £150 cheaper for exactly the same flights.
