Does BA offer wifi on transatlantic flights yet?

Short answer no, and it appears to be quite a long way off.

The roll out of wi-fi is being discussed in this thread: Highlife Connect (Inflight Wi-Fi)

No, unfortunately. Best to use AA across the Atlantic to get wifi services (although connection would be required from ATL to get an AA service).

Hmm.... a quick read of the linked thread gives every impression that the wi-fi rollout is very much in the jam tomorrow category. In similar vein perhaps to the much-hyped, but currently single-route, new CW catering service : another 'rollout' where nobody seems to know when tomorrow's jam will actually come. (I guess the ordering of all those shiny new plates is taxing the Waterside logistics boffins to the absolute limit .....)

Looks like at least one of the 747s has now been fitted with Gogo satellite WiFi (BA172 JFK-LHR on Sept 23rd) based on a quick Twitter search.
