When a CE food choice is not a choice
Hi all
another CE food observation. GLA to LGW 9.40am.
sitting in 3f looking forward to my bread cheese and meat, which I got. I was surprised to hear the crew say to row one. Would you liken cheese and meat OR a cooked breakfast. All 4 in row one took cooked.
row 2 PAX number one. I'll have cooked.
crew: we don't have a choice any more. Only cheese and meat.
i really felt sorry for the crew. There was a moment where we saw the level of service BA should be aiming for only for it to turn into CruzAir.
I was happy but row 2 wasn't.

not unusual to run out of choices and what you haven't told us is how many pax there were.
if it was 6 pax in total (4 in row 1 taking cooked, 1 in row 2 and you in row 3), understandable that they wouldn't have more than 4/6 of one particular meal.
if it was e.g. 4 rows of 4 pax and they had 4/16 cooked, that's rather poor.

Do domestic flights still have the cold plate at breakfast? It has very sadly disappeared on European flights (now just regular cooked or vegetarian cooked).

this is is what I suspect. But as someone who used to analyse stock levels a while back, this is an easy one to do
