The evening before a first FIRST

To set the scene- 2 in First (My wife and I) 2 in CW(Children 12 & 14).
All very well travelled inc in QR, BA and KL J . Not regulars and enough for J to be looked forward to.
My wife has never flown First class on any airline, I have but only 2001 Royal Brunai first class to LHR & DOH-LHR twice so this is our real LH FIRST LHR-SIN.

With the help of this forum we have sourced the 2x EX EU J flights at a reasonable cost of £3480 and 2x First tickets for £1000 fees and taxes plus AVIOS and AMEX 241 voucher so all is good.
I would just like to thank all of the contributors here for the information supplied as this trip would really be out of my reach financially.

I read a lot of negative things here about BA but it will be a great experience for us tomorrow. We will be drinking inclusive wines and champanges and eating good food whilst sat in a huge chair/bed at 35000 feet whilst watching a movie on a $00000000 piece of amazing technology and engineering.

So good night and if the champagne does not get to me I will post a trip report.
Sleep will not come easy tonight.

Importantly remember both you and your wife can take a guest into the Concorde Room, so all four of you can enjoy.

Yes got that. Children will be with us in CCR.
As a 45 year old I should not be this excited.

Yes, you should.

Once you lose the excitement of things, then start to worry. Have a great time and drink loads of LPGS for me (who has only been to CCR once!)

I know you should not lie to children but I have told them it is illegal for them to come in to the FIRST cabin.
I will try really hard to enjoy my pre flight, my flight.
