I thought the main (and relevant) part of his complaint was the flights not using T5.

He clearly has too much time on his hands

Perhaps that is just what happens when there is no direct competition

The link isn't loading for me. Perhaps he should focus on upgrading the service quality of his government's web presence first.

Honestly, I don't see that as a valid complaint. I generally find T3 more efficient than T5 - comparison slightly changed given the new First Wing. I find the CX F lounge equally enjoyable to the CCR (each has pros/cons).

Perhaps in the longer term BA might move flights without F class to T3 - that way the existing T3 facilities (Club and F lounges) would better meet the product portfolio offered, and F class passengers would always rightly have access to the F wing and CCR at T5.

‘There are complaints about the quality of the planes on the route and the service,’ said Mr Akufo-Addo. ‘In some quarters, there is a feeling that you are taking us a little for granted in the way in which we are receiving your services.’
He should try flying long-haul on some of the Gatwick fleet

Thanks T8191, BA are certainly getting a bashing in the press lately!

not sure this one counts as a 'bashing'. More a presumptuous burble by the new President of Ghana, who clearly expects only brand-new aircraft flying to ACC ... from T5.

The Media chose to pad the piece with xontextual irrelevancies.

There is quite a lot of criticism in the article that hasn't come from the President of Ghana, such as 60 schoolchildren being denied tap water on a flight to Naples, and an elderly lady being offered 40 compensation after being forced to sit in urine soaked clothes for the flight, or so the article says anyway.

Edited to add: are we reading the same article? I'm reading the one you linked from pressreader

How bizarre . I think his main point about the quality of the planes was distracted from by the irrelevant T3 argument. Imagine if all country presidents started complaining of the same in such a public fashion, its like an episode of Yes Minister.

Which terminal do "Ghana Airways" fly into and what equipment do they use? ;-)
