In a mild but wet Bergen - beautiful city, and further north than Glasgow! My most northerly hogmanay ever

Slight panic last night with cancelled flight from EDI-LGW for sis-in-law, but managed to get her a train to KingsX and she got to sofitel T5 at 2am. BGO flight this morning was great.

Made it home to London after an 18hr fog delay to be presented with two toddlers with chicken pox. Couldn't ask for anything better (no sarcasm here, it's just perfect to be on the ground for 10 days with the family!) and I have the best view of the London Eye fireworks without even leaving the house.

Happy New Year all!

Hope you made it back safely, wasn't too bad for us in the evening but it's been ridiculously foggy all week in Dubai for sure. We had our midnight in the Emirates F lounge Terminal A. Not the worst NYE experience I've had

Wet but wonderful evening in NCL flew up yesterday on slightly delayed BA1334 . Perfectly happy to while away the wait in GC especially after some of the horrendeous delays exerienced on that route on Friday and Thursday. Was expecting mayhem at LHR yesterday but was fine around 11am aparently it was carnage before then.

Departed NCL 15 mins or so delayed due to late inbound aircraft as LHR was busy on the departure but arrived on stand 1 minute early (as the captain was pleased to announce). Bags off pretty quickly and onto a delayed Heathrow express.

Happy New Year everybody.
