Clear enough this morning >>> http://www.gov.je/Weather/Pages/webcam.aspx

And peck was put up in a very decent hotel, where we had stayed a few times in the distant past [long before we moved here].

Jersey Met suggesting the same fog problem may recur later this evening ... Happy travels!

Was bright sunshine when I left home this morning near the airport and the fog was in St Aubins Bay although it appears to have all cleared now.

Yes, as Uncle T has said we were fortunate and put up in a very fine hotel here. Beautiful day today, the first flight out was cancelled (inevitable as the plane wasn't here) but the second flight out departed with a small delay. I'm on the third, currently showing as on time.

If anyone on a later flight is reading this it would be very smart to call BA and get bumped onto an earlier one (if there's space. Unlikely maybe). The fog was severe and I think only one plane made it in all afternoon / evening

Oh dear... Groundhog Day!

Thankfully I'm safely home, have just mowed the lawn in absolutely glorious Hertfordshire sunshine.

Good luck to those trying to get home.
