Spectacular indeed! If you don't mind an extra stop or two, see also INV-PDX (Portland) on similar dates, also £250.

The excellent ex-CH BA WT+ fare between ZRH/BSL/GVA and several US destinations is back.

Specifically, ZRH-LHR-NYC-LHR-ZRH coming in at 738 CHF or £549. Perfect for using some Avois to upgrade to J.

Thanks! Great fare! google flights example here: https://www.google.com/flights/#flt=...395*.EUR.61395

Wonder if there is a minimum stay requirement on the fare... At the moment, I can't find a price to match for a weekend.

Check the fare rules in Matrix/ExpertFlyer and you will see that there is a requirement to take the TATL legs on Tuesday-Thursdays, so this will be having an effect. In any case, to get a weekend trip only pushes the fare up by 110 CHF / £82.

Got it. ^

Seem to be some good WT+ fares ex DUB as well. 650 euros for NYC... And not too much more for West coast and Texas.

Remind me, what class fare does the SH book into? I miss the days when they booked into J class and 40tps were deposited.

Just noticed that DUB-LHR-GIG-LHR-DUB in WT+ for May (possibly other months available) has just price dropped to £967 return (was a staggering £1,870 yesterday).

That is a very good price, Normally a premium route,

We are £1500 in J and only because we are leaving from OSL which is far less convenient!

I thought I'd resurrect a thread, not a popular one I admit.

Ok, I'd love some help, so we are trying to find the cheapest fare in either WT or WTP (whichever comes out better value) for this route... XXX > LON > JFK > MIA > LON > XXX. Dates are outbound 20-23th Dec 2018 (flexible on that) and return on Jan 13th back from MIA. We require checked luggage as a cruise is involved. The latest BF sale was out of our price bracket unfortunately.

Has anyone seen any decent fares out there or have any tips?

Thanks.

I don't quite understand your itinerary - when do you want to be in New York? When to you need to be in MIA by? And do you actually want to fly via London, or would a TATL on IB to MAD be ok?

I'm seeing a few ex-EU options for around £570 in Y, or about £100 more ex-LON, so nothing very exciting price-wise. Anything in WT+ looks poor value...

Hi...
I kinda bumped into you in Malaga once ( I think ) and assumed from your handle that you are based in Gibraltar. With that in mind there is some reasonable deals in Y from AGP via LIS on Tap for under €500.

Thanks for the reply. Ah ok, so need to be in NYC by the 23rd Dec. Leave MIA on the 13th Jan back to London. The NYC to MIA leg needs to arrive before the 6th Jan in time for a cruise. So that leg is flexible anytime after the 29th/30th Dec once Christmas with the family is done!

Oh, did we?! I have been a regular on that route for some years so that may be the case and hello again if we did meet! You've got me wanting to be back in AGP now, especially with these horrible grey London days, so I'm actually based in London but thanks for pointing that route out.
