Frivolous booze post

Ok, I'm very easily pleased.

But this afternoon in T5 GF I noticed that the summer gin showcase now includes Brockmans. This is my favourite gin ever and it's simply divine. It made for a very pleasant afternoon waiting to head back up north to to LBA. Actually, I was as enthusiastic as a springer spaniel pup and spent all afternoon bouncing round the lounge testing out which cakes work best with Brockmans.

So - which booze do you wish would be showcased in the lounge?
And is there a recommended cake to accompany it?

And more details on the gin promotion here.

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...promotion.html

They have added some more lines to this promotion, including Brockman's - most notably Sipsmith - to go with the Fevertree tonic - but I'll add some photos to the above thread to keep it in one place.

Great thread!

Would love to see pretty much anything in the craft beer department, lagavulin whisky and, of course, a great ginger beer to pair with the gin.

Ginger wine and fruit cake go well together, especially during the festive period.

Beavertown or Brew Dog IPAs, Disaronno (have a feeling this may be there/I'm always forgetting to check if they have it), some sort of cider, and seconding the Lagavulin 16yo!

Brockmans also, of course, a very welcome addition although I must confess to preferring Greenalls myself...

Will drink no other!

White Lightning to go with the Buckfast as well. There should be an alkie/vagrant option.
