Gin: Latest First Lounge (LHR) promotion
There is currently a gin promotion in First Lounge T5 (and I'm guessing T3 Flounge too), so someone knows their market I guess. It's on the Gold Bar, and the gins on promotion are:
- Hendricks
- Old Tom from Jensen's
- Bermondsey Dry, also from Jensen's
- Cotswolds
Some photos and the advertising material below. Tasting notes in the second picture.
Some other recent promotions:

Indeed. As the saying goes, if half your drink is tonic, make sure it's the right one.
Reminds me of a great bartender at a NY hotel I used to stay at that made his own tonic from medicinal grade quinine....

The Ungava shown here is made in Canada and my wife has been wanting some of it ... it isn't sold in the US, been trying to get a coworker from Toronto to bring some with him, never worked out. My wife finally ended up bringing two bottles when she came back from Finland.

Really? I knew it was sometimes hit-or-miss (as with other bar selections, such as JW Red sometimes being substituted for JW Blue)... Last time I looked for it, I'm pretty sure it was there. But that was a little while ago, as my more recent visit was an early morning connection, so I wasn't quite looking for gin!
