Fever-Tree available on premium longhaul from August 2015
I'm taking the liberty of splitting off this topic from the Flounge gin promotion, not least because the promotion will typically last a few weeks.
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...promotion.html
According to a scoop from CIHY, from 1 August some Fever-Tree product(s), from the respected UK mixer supplier, will be available on board longhaul premium cabins from 1 August 2015.
What I know is that Fever-Tree has only recently made the decision to have products available in mini tins. There are already available in Sainsburys and Waitrose will have them from next week.

150 ml is the same size as the Schweppes mini cans.
Now is this just tonic or the other Fever-Tree products I wonder? F-T also do lemonade, ginger ale and a range of other products. And is WTP included?

I'll welcome the upgrade from Schweppes to Fever Tree- now that is a genuine enhancement. Fever Tree tastes much less 'synthetic' that Schweppes. Well done BA!

the bottled product v bottled product is far superior, even more so bottled product v tin,
but has anyone tried the fever tree mini-cans yet? are they they same recipie as their principle product?
I fear I may have to take on the onerous duty of a taste test this weekend.

Fever Tree Indian tonic and naturally light tonic water will be on offer in First and Club World cabins from August 1.
Fever Tree is a British premium tonic brand that will enhance our selection of gin and vodka. We serve more than two million gin and tonics on board each year and it is fantastic
that we can now serve what is arguably one of the world’s best tonics with our gin.
Schweppes tonic and diet tonic will continue to be loaded for the rest of the aircraft, and you may find it in premium cabins on the return sectors while Fever Tree stocks are on their way from London.

somewhat of a deviation from the OP but was flying from LHR-IST a couple of days ago in CE and the mini-bottles of "Champagne" had been replaced by a large bottle of Tattinger from which we were given a small glass.
I suppose the "quality" of the fizz is probably better although the quantity is much reduced as it doesn't take long to polish off two mouth-fulls and its unreasonable to expect continual refills. Also, as happened on our flight, if someone requests a top up and you need to open a new bottle then the rest goes to waste if no one else partakes!
Is this just a one off or the way going forward?
