F wines on my recent flights to and from AUH, which varied slightly by flight:

Chassagne-Montrachet 1er Cru Morgeot 2009
Castro Martin Sobre Lias Albarino 2013
Envoy Sauvignon Blanc 2012
Sancerre La Moussiere 2012
Mt Difficulty Bannockburn Estate Pinot Gris 2013

Chateau Fleur Cardinale 2006
Corton Renardes Grand Cru 2008
Coronato 2008
Craggy Range Calvert Vineyard Pinot Noir 2011

current dessert wine/port in F?

needing to book a one-way using miles, I decided to splash out on F before the devaluation... what's the sticky choice in F at the mo'?

Chateau de Rayne Vigneau 2003. Sauternes 1er Grand Cru Classe was being served on my AUH flights last week.

Don't knock Hamilton Russel's Pinot - it's about as close to the "real deal" as South African red gets (well, apart from Kanonkop I guess. Which BA also used to serve a few years ago). It's not made in huge quantity and IMHO it's one of the top10/20 new world pinots...

That's what I'm drinking now at the LHR T1 lounge. Not a great wine, but certainly drinkable. And yes I know it's 6am here, but it's 1pm where I just flew in from.

As well as the normal Tattinger Prelude and Rose, the GF currently has a couple of bottles of the Tattinger Millesime 2006 which is quite nice. I have not been in here for a while - is this normal now or do we think they found a few bottle laying around and put it out?
