I'm pretty sure those are code shares..

Rotterdam - 15 minutes by bike, 10 by car, Amsterdam - about 40 minutes by car. If I have to go by public transport, I'll take AMS, since it is a pain to get to RTM and takes about an hour (seriously, not kidding!), AMS is about 1h - 1h15m by public transport.

DME 40Km and taxi. SVO 8 miles and Taxi both. SVO 500 Roubles, DME 1500 Roubles or 5000 roubles if it's an airport taxi!

LHR

car:
- 30 minutes by car to T5 (35~40 to the others) with clear motorways
- anywhere from 45 to 120 minutes in rush hour

taxi:
- £50

public transport:
- train to Woking then National Express - 90 minutes £22
why does Heathrow still not have a rail connection to the South?

LGW

car:
- 50 minutes with clear motorways
- anywhere between 1 and 2 hours when not clear

taxi:
- £90

public transport:
- train to Clapham Junction then on to Gatwick - 90 minutes £29

SOU
Technically the closest airport but BA don't fly from there!

Mostly LHR and Taxi from Abingdon @£75.
Car in about 1 hour, depending on traffic.

Closest BA airport for you

I live in Ireland and the drive to Dublin is 3 hours. Ok there are EI codeshares and understand it is not in the UK, but got me thinking. Are there corners of UK that one has to drive long distances to start with BA?

LCY is less than 10 minutes by car (though I usually take the DLR) LHR is around 1:30~2:00 depending on whether I take the Tube+HEX or just the Tube
