I book 4 tix and my wife is the only one who gets a 20% rebate code?

Could I have lost my rebate code in the spam filter by mistake? Any way to check if one has an available code somewhere in BAEC?

Is the rebate code of much use anyway, or are the conditions such that you cannot use them on low fares/peak periods/etc.?

I take it a family booking would only give her a rebate of some sort?

I don't know anything about rebates, I'm afraid.

I suspect the lack of answers on this thread means I'm not alone here...

If your wife has some sort of code that gives her a discount, I'd suggest that she should make the family booking. These things tend not to be transferable.

What's a 4 fix and why would it give a rebate code?

Sorry, I meant 'tix' of course.

The title of the email was: Mrs XXX, don’t miss an amazing 20% off your next flight

And inside is a voucher code for the 20% discount.

Are they really that uncommon?

Why do you think there is a connection between your wife having received an offer from BA, and you having bought tickets recently?

To find out the conditions, ask your wife to read the email/follow the links included in the mail.

It seems the usual marketing approach does it not. Make offers to those who dont book much travel to entice them to book more? BA obviously feel they dont need to entice you to book more (as you had recently booked your 4 tickets) - hence they dont target you with the offer.

I've had the same 20% off offer to an account I don't use, same for my partner.

It is to entice people back.
