I think excellence is in the eye of the beholder! 
If the OP thought it was an excellent experience, then it was. We all have our different scales for judging these things; there is no absolute. 
Thanks, BotB, I like hearing the positive reports, and encourage them and their posters. The negative ones appear to need to encouragement at all, but deserve space on FT too.
