CE catering on BA2774 & 2773

Hi all,

Am booked in CE next week on the BA2774 16:20 departure and the 2773 13:25 departure.

I assume that this will be the normal band 1 salad ? and again i assume its likely to be the standard salmon ?

I dont eat the stuff, what would be my best bet for a special meal on a band 1 flight ? if they even do such a thing ? not really a fish/salmon salad kind of bloke, now if it was a nice chicken salad that would be a totally different story !

The 1620 will be afternoon tea, 2 finger sandwiches, and warm scones. Not my favourite CE meal.

You may well get chicken salad on the 1325.

Meanwhile with the pea souper over Jersey at the mo I may well not get to Amsterdam tomorrow.

I agree that fish with no alternative is not really good enough. Fish - you either love it or hate it!

How about that as an alternate afternoon tea, small Cornish pasty followed by scones and cream

What's wrong with a big Cornish pastie? Beats the hell out of boorrring sandwiches.

Can anyone confirm for certain if the 2774 which is a 1620 departure is in fact an afternoon tea flight ? if it is ill stick with that but does anyone have any bright ideas for a special meal order to avoid salmon salad on the 2773 @ 1325 JER-LGW ?

16.30 is the change over point to dinner so with a 16.20 departure it is the Afternoon Tea.

Never asked for a special meal in CE so cant help here
