Old First footstool

Hi

Quick question are you able to sit on the footstool in old First much as you can do in Virgin Upper or New First?

Thanks

Absolutely. Provided that ones bottom isn't too wide as it's not the most comfortable seat either in Old or New First for lurking for overly long periods.

You are also able to dine with a companion with one sat on the buddy seat / footstool across from you which we have done on multiple occasions.

I'm confused as I've seen others say there is more room and others who agree with you.

From my experience on 744's the NF buddy seat is narrower because of the wider wall panels. The seat itself is longer and does not fold in half like that in OF.

The picture below shows little Miss Stevie-d (a slim 8 year old) perched on the edge of the buddy seat of 3K in NF.

I'll never fit my fat @ss in there by the look of it!

Do you think there's any more width on the triple7?

Much less room across the shoulders in the NF buddy seat, which is due to the window blind fittings removing the window 'indentation'

This is my least favourite feature of NF, as i always feel compelled to join the MRS for dinner and let her have the big seat !

Sorry I can't answer that one, I've only ever done OF on 777's.
