Again, thanks everyone. I feel more confident in being able to connect to my MAD flight and, if my inbound arrives late, being able to connect to an IB flight rather than wait until the much later BA flight. Hopefully as a Platinum AA member and flying Busn (oops, World Club) - this will even help more.

There's little doubt that the work of these "goons" you speak of has vastly improved BA's once flailing punctuality record to that of being a dependable carrier.
