MFU on miles booking
I've looked for the answer for this, I really have, but can't find it.
I have a flight booked to the USA, going out in Club and back in First. The reason for this was down to the amount of miles I held at the time of booking.
I've now got enough to upgrade the Club booking to First, am I able to do this within the rules of the system? It's an Amex 241 booking.
Thanks for any assistance.

I don't like this answer (even though it may be correct).
Any other views?

Yes, I think it's fine and they won't even ask you for the extra miles as you're such a great guy.
How about that answer?

I don't want to do that because we got the last award seats and they may not come back into the system if we cancel.
Damn! But thank you for confirming the facts.

Best of both worlds. You get to experience both premium classes and you will have some miles left. All good.
